  • Dark ruby red with pinkish-purple rim. Redcurrant, unripe black fruits, mild toasted barrel, cedar, ink, rose garden, mint, nutmeg, cinnamon, spices, mild leather and white pepper. Medium-full bodied, medium-high acidity, medium-high tannin, medium to medium-high structure, medium alcohol and medium finish. Complex, subtle and invigorating. Well-balanced and fantastic value.

I paired this with 2021 Inopia. 2020 was generally a much better vintage than 2021 in Southern Rhone. I felt 2020 Inopia had higher acidity, more subtle and mellow than 2021. IMHO, 2020 would perform better with more aging, and 2021 would be better to drink while fresh and youthful. They were both very good.
