A touch less effusive and finely-tuned as the 18 I had a few weeks back. Primary noise of red fruit and dried flowers (the 3.5 yo niece sniffs it and says “smells like cranberry”), and the palate follows with a zingy zinberry fruif, veering towards the red end of the spectrum (yes, cranberry, raspberry, red plum), a hint of awkward VA sourness that blows off, and layers of crushed violets, chalk and a bit of baking spice. Medium bodied and the impeccable balance of fruit/weight/restraint that I find in most bedrock wines. A bit of heat on the finish. Probably set aside for another 2-3 years to see this really shine.

14.8% abv. Dark ruby, very aromatic. Raspberry, crabapple, mint and bramble in a rich, deep and long palate impression. Great now and over the next decade.

Opened one of these in the name of science. This was a very similar experience for me to Beeson a few months back - aromatics are already off the charts, but on the palate, much less expressive. Tasty but clearly needs a few years sideways.
