  • Easily the best of our 3-bottle 2021 ~$30-ish Willamette PN tasting, ahead of Amity Vineyards PN and Bethel Heights Estate. In a way this was the least "complex" of the three, but definitely the most "pure", very focused, expressive, and delicious, especially for the price. Just a huge load of super-clear red cherry on the nose, effortlessly aromatic, almost a little candied like an excellent gamay, but with the depth and gentle mineral tone of Pinot. A touch of vanilla also maybe, but the fruit is far more prominent. Really lovely acidic energy here that carried the wine all the way to the long, silky finish without ever feeling needlessly "tart" or puckery. Simple but lovely.

  • Nice smell to the nose, just a hair smoke and reductive. And then some fairly dark cherry fruit on the nose and the palate. It's got some depth but to me its still over at $30.
