How often does one visit White Rose to find the place blanketed in snow and mist? The "White" here being all too literal. Anyway, brief visit and no notes taken and this is the only wine that I can recall by both name and vintage. Slightly perfumed nose, dark ruby (so many of their wines have very similar colors), dark cherry, modest tannins, decent length. It's good but it ought to be.

Ripe and concentrated out of the glass, red fruited- utterly primary. Notable extraction, though balanced with itself. I'd like to see these with 5-6 years on them, though, these were just bottled, so it's hard to judge harshly. Popped on a whim with friends, slow ox'ed for 2hrs. Fun, but pricey, for an entry level wine, you can do better for less.
