  • dark ruby and light-plus body. subtle floral, mushroom and game notes lace the nose of red fruits which express themselves in clear layers in the mouth. earthy and spice accents and acidic lift enhance the experience. weightier in flavour than the body would suggest and with notable structure. good length.

    well-balanced and moderately complex medium Pinot that should come into its own in short order and provide a handful of years of good drinking. this has upside potential.

    13% AbV; whole-cluster open-top fermentation for three weeks; ten months' ageing in French oak.
