  At first nose this dark purple wine has a fragrance of ripe dark fruits, floral notes & earthy... like just after a summer rain shower. With your first mouthful you are greeted by all the fruits of raspberry, bing cherries, strawberries followed by some baking notes of allspice, clove & a hint of vanilla. To me the acidity is low, and depending on your palette the tannins are in the low to medium range & the finish is short with the tinest amount of astringent as it leaves the mouth. For me this wine was very balanced, delightful to drink & would be great for many food dishes.

  This wine is a beautiful burgundy colored wine, the nose has wonderful aroma's of dark cherries and cinnamon. There is a burst of dark fruit flavor with your first mouthful..currants, dark cherries, dark plums followed with notes of baking spices, leather. This is slightly astringent & has med tannins in the finish.
