  Wine Tasted at Acker Auction (Ci Siamo - New York NY): Small glass, walk around tasting. Charming and mostly mature, this is less powerful than the best bottles I've tasted in the past, but has lots of nuance and good+ length.

  Bottle in perfect condition. Drunk alongside the 2002 Batard, which was also in excellent shape. For the group, the BBM was the winner. Elegant and light on its feet, the wine showed nice acidity for the vintage. Very nice!

  More advanced than the excellent example of ’02 straight Bâtard in the next glass, but with a rich and dense golden fruit character. More honeyed and candied fruit, sort of reminiscent of this ’82 Montrachet recently, although the signature Ramonet mint and spice is fading in this bottle. Good, but if being critical not great.

  Served blind. More mature than wine beside it ('12 Lafon MP) rounder with more depth and oak, but less clean and precise. This wine seems very much at peak, drink soon. Great flight!
