Verticals of BC wines - Burrowing Owl Cab Sauv, Black Hills Nota Bene, Osoyoos Larsose Grand Vin (Sharon & Guy's): Clear very light almost translucent raspberry core of moderate- intensity out to an oranging edge - development noted. Clean nose with just a touch of brett that adds to the complexity - moderately intense nose of cedar, spice, mineral, tea and leather. Brilliant nose! Dry with very good structure on the palate - moderate and slightly drying tannins with good spice, warming alcohol (moderate), leather, dried cherry and tea flavours. Moderate acicity and moderate body. Moderate length finish but this wine still has some time to go. Again, wish I had more - developing well. Give it another 2-4 years.

Other than Blue Mountain Pinot Noir Reserve, this is the best Canadian wine I have ever tasted. Deep rose color with a bit of orange, nose of a new world bordeaux blend with plum and blackcurrant minus the heavy oak, very round taste of pure black fruit, leather and tobacco. One more bottle left - don't waste it.

This was my last bottle of this wine and such a pity they're all gone. This has gotten better in the bottle with time and is superb just now.
A garnet red color with a bit of brick orange at the edge of the glass. The Nose is a sexy smokey wood, lavender and plum. It tasted of tart cherries, soft somewhat greenish tannins and the wamth of some alcohol with a nice acidity and pomegranate taste. Three days after opening with just the cork put in overnight and left on the kitchen counter it was still enjoyable and holding together very well.

Smoothe, spicy wine with an acidity that braces the flavours of red fruits and berries.
