This wine proves the point that even the most mediocre of bottles will improve overnight with enough air. On night #1, it was harsh and hollow. On night #2, after being sealed "airtight" and left in the fridge, it was passable with spaghetti and meatballs. Equivalent to a cheap Chianti, but with more fruit. Good for the price. Open a day or two before consuming and leave in the fridge. Rating is based on night #2.

Appearance - clear, medium plus ruby
Nose - clean, youthful, medium plus intensity. It’s been open for a few hours and the nose is really melding. Berries. Juicy. Red and black fruit. Raspberry, cherries. Not broody fruit but fresh and vibrant. Italian spices. Definitely and herbaceous quality.
Palate - fresh, youthful, vibrant, juicy. Tastes balanced. Intensity is medium. Body medium plus. Tannins are medium. You feel them on back gums after you swallow. Finish is medium. Alcohol is medium and well integrated. Notes are red and black berries. Not really getting the herbal on the palate. Nose is more interesting at this point.
Very pleasant wine. Not sure retail price. At my introductory offer $7.50 quite a good buy. See that someone suggests a drinking window of 2026. Not sure how much better this will get. Enjoy
