{Corton Clos des Corton tasting organized by JL at Black Cat} Wine of the night for me. Purchased by another participant on release along with the 1993; not an easy wine yet, huge, incredible depth of richness on palate, lots of life and length. Rated 95-98 over the course of the glass. Decanted at 3 pm and tasted ~ 7:30 or 8 pm. Just superb.

Served blind, thought an 09, I’m stumped a 1990, loved the nose full of fruits & panache, so wrong to guess a Chambolle coz it wasn’t v elegant, drinking beautifully now, love old Faiveleys
