Featured at a Comparative Tasting at Dom. Drouhin Oregon versus the 2021 Arthur Chardonnay. Spent 10 months in (10% new) French oak. 13% ABV. Fairly dark lemon yellow color. Nose is reticent with little fruit (melon?) and mostly mineral driven. High acidity, moderately long. Different but not appreciably better or worse than the Arthur Chard. Perhaps too young still to strut its stuff…?
