This was an excellent CdP, which makes me think that the other tasters might have just tried it too soon. This wine is definitely made to go the distance. Clear, garnet, medium plus in intensity. The nose is clean and incredibly complex, with nuances of baked red fruits, sweet spice, lavender, herbs and alcohol. On the second day, there's some fig and carob on the nose. The palate is dry, with medium acidity, medium plus alcohol, and medium plus to pronounced tannins. The body, flavor intensity and length are medium plus. The flavors, which evolved during the evening, include sweet cherry liqueur, bitter liquorice and a hint of herbs, which all combine in a rich, long finish which is reminiscent of a young Cognac. The 60% Grenache, 35% Syrah and 5% Mourvedre are all nicely integrated. This wine is at a very good stage now and is likely to continue to improve for several more years due to its very structured tannins. It is fine by itself but really pairs up well with savory foods and cheeses. An excellent effort. Will have to procure more.

Super nice nose of ripe strawberries, soy sauce, meat... Very nice balanced taste between ripe red fruit and nice refreshing acidity, very well made!

Still going well. Good dark fruits some notes of fig and a herbal character on the nose. Still moderate dark fruits.
Pretty good :)
