While López in Argentina is better know for its low-end wines "for the masses," the 10-year Monchenot is one of the more special ones. Aged for 10 years in oak barrels before even being released, this Bordeaux Blend is smooth and unlike most other Argentine wines. The 2004 vintage was much better but this is still good and a very good value besides.
