Drinking beautifully now. Cassis, blackberry, licorice, vanilla. Smooth, approachable, with some depth and richness, but not overly complex. Not getting an excess of heat. Just a very pleasing style without going over the top. (So far, this is easily my favorite among the <$100 Hall cabs from both the 2019 and 2020 vintages.)

Dark, thick. Dates, licorice, baking spice... saturated in vanilla, especially on the finish.

Restrained still, but enjoyable. A tight core of dark fruit. Dark chocolate, clove, a trace of menthol, charcoal. Brooding.
