90 - Very solid cab blend, but for the $$ and reviews I expected a little more. It was a little light as far as earth dark fruits go…a little bright. May want to try again with a longer decant.
Would buy again if they had a good sale. $30-$40 bottle.

Ordered a glass at a restaurant. I ordered it blind without knowing anything about the wine or producer. 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot, 7% Malbec, 2% Petit Sirah, 1% Syrah. This was a big concentrated California wine. Blackish purple color. Firm tannins. Notes of black cherries, spice, oak, tobacco and plums. Long finish. 92 points.

A ready to drink medium bodied cabernet. Aromatically stronger than many Cabernets with cherry, plum, blackberry notes. In mouth it is medium viscous and almost lighter viscosity than I was expecting. Very fruit forward with sour to bitter raspberry and plum. I know many Paso Robles wines and dealing with the heat can overripen the fruit. This one avoids that so.... it's good.
