I was again really excited by this wine. Crisp acidity and full flavor like biting into a freshly harvested honey crisp apple. Not super long but more than enough. Great chard.

So these are burning a hole in my cellar, already drank 3/6, but this time was next to a 2019 Ferret Pouilly Fuisse Perrieres and the floral notes of this wine (in addition to stone fruit) was plain to see. The toast is so light and the oak so judicious (Marcus or Megan can tell us about the elevage here) but my point is the the wine was nuanced, elegantly restrained and a delight to drink now.

A little flinty. Lemon curd, asian pear, a little eMandarin orange, jasmine, chalk, floral and subtle wood spice. Midweighted toothsome and intense yet light on its feet. Clean, laser sharp, and finely detailed. Stony and mineral driven with well balanced wood and enough fruit to bring it all together, but this is at the spoint not as much fruit as a lovely soil driven wine. Beautiful balance and sense of cohesion. Mouthwatering fresh. 93+

Another delicious bottle. URI today with a stuffy nose so I’ll hold off on any formal notes but this bottle was clean and pleasant, moderately reduced, and well received. Excellent QPR.

So freaking good. We’re in house wine territory here. I need to stop burning through them! But these are just a joy.
