Loamy and hammy, drank fruit, on the nose. Juicy and jammy with a decent but a little flat due to lack of acid backbone. Probably a couple years late in drinking

Intense, concentrated, blackberry, black currant, char, lavender, ginger, pine needles, green peppercorn, white pepper, pumpkin, vanilla, sandalwood. After being open a few hours, some of the intensity has subsided and it's showing a green stemminess on the finish, and a hint of lingering sulfur. I'd say either pop and pour now or give it a lot of bottle age - it won't be so pleasant in between, but should be nice as a mature wine.
