Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 90 points

  • Good purity of blackberries, ripe gooseberries with overtones of green tobacco leave and some smoked meat and toasted spices. Need some air for the aromatics to surface. On the palate, it is lively and clean. Very focused on the savoury gooseberries and black berries with the savoury smoke in the undertone. Medium bodied. Nice and extended transition from entry to a deep finish which still has some bitter tannins. Age this for a few more years for the elements to melt together even more and for the tannins to integrate into the structure. 90-92 pts.
