  • Thought this bottle got consumed and unearthed it while looking for something else.

Nose of lemon zest and funky melon. A very thick and creamy mouthfeel with bright acidity and a powerful palate. The RS in the wine helps carry it from start to finish. Palate of melons, lemons, limestone, a bit of licorice, and some white flowers. Long finish that is very creamy with lots of white flower elements, lemon pith, and melons.

If this was bone dry, I don't think I would like it. It really needed that extra bit of sweetness to balance it out.

  • No formal notes.

Pinot gris made in the more traditional style. Fairly rounded and opulent for the region with flavors of muskmelon and candied lemon. Still kicking at seven years-old. Tasty stuff that drained quickly.
