  Medium purple color. Bright cherry fruit on the nose with a hint of some red plums. Lots of cherries and raspberrieson the taste with good acid and surprisingly good tannin. Drank with some ziti in a tomato, cheese and cream sauce. Very good match. Not an earth shaking wine but a good drink.

  Bright fruit and some oak on the nose. Full of red plum aromas with just a hint of raspberries. Bright purple color. Full fruit with noticeable oak on the taste. The red plums really came through on the taste and there was great depth of fruit. Moderate acid. Long finish. Very young wine but a delicious drink right now. The 2006 is 14.5% alcohol and that is more than I prefer, but this wine was very balanced and there was almost no alcohol burn on the finish. Picked up two more bottles at $14 each. Excellent value. Will try one in October and hold the other.
