I was hoping for more given how nice their Pursima Mt. Syrah drinks. I found this to be an OK Cab. For $25/btl you don't get great wine in CA these days. It had nice structure and tannins but nothing too complex. Overall only ok.

There’s sweet black fruit on the nose, perfumed with some sweet vanilla. With ripe fruit on the palate, it very much a warm climate Bordeaux style with quite chewy tannins. It a nice enough wine, but it doesn’t really say Santa Ynez to me. Good/Very Good.

PnP, served non-blind. Dark ruby with slight fading. Reductive, hot. Better on day two, but not beyond average. 14,2% abv, drink thru 2015
