  • Mid ruby to garnet, nicely vibrant. Dark red fruit with a sense of early autumn. Densely silky texture, with the finest of residual powdery tannin on the finish. Fleshy and nicely fragrant, some spice and the early autumnal feel hinting at a bit of sous bois development. Lovely village wine. Last of six and still comfortably on the upslope. Definitely worth the tenner from the Vosne Maison de Vin, back in the day! ***1/2

  • Nicely darker fruited and spicy with a dense, finely velvety texture giving mid palate weight, and finishing with some fine but still present tannin. Very decent mid field village Vosne without pretention to grandeur. ***1/2

  • This has come on nicely since last drunk in 2010. Nicely dark fruited, Vosne spice, tannins have mellowed and are pretty much integrated. Nicely fresh with a good finish. Excellent villages. ***1/2

  • Pulled from the cellar on-spec for a top ribeye on bone. First look at 99 above generic level. Initially quite tight and showing some tannin still to resolve. Really opened up over an hour or so to a nicely spicy, dark red fruited wine with good acidity and line. True to it's terroir. On day two this is still nicely structured with good line and length. Very decent and a snip at a tenner from the Vosne MduV in 2003. ***1/2
