  • Tasted after a 60 minute decant.
Dark ruby in colour with aromas of earthy forest floor & kirsch. On the palate, medium to full bodied tart & juicy, fruit forward blackberry/cherry, slightly earthy, floral, medium acidity, medium soft tannins with a long finish to earth & kirsch. This wine is not complex, but it is lively, fresh, young tasting & fruit pure, given that no oak was used in the making. Nicely done as usual by Lafage!
