I bought these from my friend Paul, who imported them into the States almost a decade ago. Surprisingly, thiswine outlasted my expectations. This last bottle is still rich in dark aromas and full on the palate. The tannins are totally tamed, so a sleek smoothness remains. Tres Bien!

In it's younger days, I quite liked this Laguedoc back around 2006, for its rich dark color, tempting nose, and boysenberry palate. Now 4 years later, on my last bottle, I wonder if it has stood up to time in the cellar. Has it lost it's fair fruit? Or has it developed the dimmed patina of age that hints of the youth that once was? I shan't wait too long to find out.

Began with very sweet flavor along with a lot of petillance. Good acidity held with aeration mellowing the fruit showing a bit more earth & sauvage. A bit peculiar. Not bad.

Med dark ruby, aromas of bright red fruit, pepper, leather, body (2), tannin (3), bit flabby but nice berry & pepper flavors, day 2, nice aromas of bright red fruit, cherry strawberry
