  90 min decant; opened for my December, and final bottle in the NW Wine Report 2023 Cabernet Franc Challenge. Nice wine for sure, very fruit-forward on day 1, showing black and blue fruit, sweet tobacco and hints of vanilla. Day 2 this was locked up behind a wall of tannin at first, but with more air it smoothed out. No bell pepper to be found though, which is somewhat disappointing. Nice way to end the challenge for sure! No rush to open these, so recommend holding another couple of years. Drink 2025-2036.
