  • Circa-1970s. A newspaper ad from 1976 says this is made from "Shiraz, Mataro and Portugal" with an average age of five and a half years. Short plastic-capped cork. Dull brown colour. Nose and palate show faint flavours of raisin and chocolate. Mouthfeel is full-bodied and silky-smooth, with rich sweetness balanced by strong alcohol, and a clean finish. A pleasant drink, despite the faded flavour.
