  Needs lots of decanting (4 hrs+). Much better than last bottle (2007). Looks almost mature 90;76 gorgeous. Full bodied, rich, explosive, lots of licorice. Delicious but still firm, excellent.

  Dinner at Sinon's home. This is the second time I've experienced this wine, and I'd be more than happy to never have it again. It's amazing how many average, or worse, pricey wines there are in the market. This one just didn't make for a good drinking experience. Too much heat-an acidic bomb. Just totally overwhelmed the fruit, which you sensed was strained on your taste buds. This is one "attitude wine" that will be crossed off the list.
