  After slumbering for many years in the cellar this beauty has gone gently into the good night. What a beautiful, sublime wine. This is the 2nd wine for Chateau Tertre and it did not disappoint. Beautiful brick red in colour with no discernible tannins. It opened up right away giving off charcoal, Pepsi and cherry on the nose with huge dark fruit (cherries) and dirt on the palate with hints of petrol and brambles on the palate. Drink up, it wont get any better. Lovely wine!

  Limpide, lumineux, belle couleur grenat avec légers reflets tuilés. Ocelle brune-orangée. Larmes rapides, grosses et fréquentes.
  Légère odeur de vieux bois disparaissant à l'aération. Nez franc, sur le cassis, les groseilles et le tabac. Légère réduction (cuir). Fond de bois de cèdre, de carbone et de réglisse.
  Attaque ample, sur le cassis bien mûr, le tabac et le bois de cèdre. Fond de groseille et de réglisse. Très belle matière. Bel équilibre de l'ensemble.
  Très belle finale, sur le tabac et la réglisse. Reste de fruit bien exprimé (cassis et groseilles).
  Un vin fameux comme les seconds vins ne le font plus depuis bien longtemps. Bel équilibre, sans creux et de merveilleux tanins bien polissés. Très frais au cap des 12 ans.

  Opaque ruby in color, with strong developing nose of black cherry, blackcurrant, liquorice, smoke and savory notes. Medium acidity but medium+ tannin and body, with a medium+ palate of vanilla, blackcurrant, black cherry, liquorice. Medium+ length and good quality. Ready to drink now but can further develop.
