  • This is one of the best BC chardonnays I have tried. It straddles the Old and New World, and the old versus modern forms of chardonnay styles skillfully. No butter notes here, the fruit is a combination of citrus and stonefruit realms and there is just enough oak (and light butterscotch) to let you know this is a chardonnay. Some concentration, great balance, nice acidity, harmonious, elegance too. The great 2020 vintage helps too no doubt. Nice now, but this should improve in the short to medium term. Well done, glad I have more (A-).
