  This was at it's best after five years and has been slowly edging down for some time now. Popped and poured and excellent straight from the bottle; Medium gold; Tropical fruit and floral aromas; Medium to full bodied, rich, complex and generous with a long and punchy, slightly honeyed finish. Much of its fresh vibrancy of two or three years ago has totally gone and it is now beginning to fade a little. First class wine making with consistent notes, but on this showing it really does need drinking up before the end of the year. It is unquestionably more tired than it was six months ago.
