  • Marcel Deiss is a contrarian who believes that “assemblages” (mixtures) of various varietals represent the terroir better than a single varietal. This wine comes from a warm terroir with a “complantation” of Riesling, Pinot Noir and Gewürtztraminer. This is a very tasty charmer in an off-dry style with the minerality of the Riesling, the body of the Pinot Noir and the exotism of the Gewürtzrraminer. It has medium length and is ready to drink. With slightly more freshness it would have scored a point higher. Drink it now or over the next 5 years.
