  a bit disappointing at first; decanted and sat for four hours, much improvement, even better the next day. Dark fruit. smooth on the palate with a bit of attitude on the finish. Will be good for a long time!

  Unusual nose of flowers, pomegranate, and orange. A wee bit volatile, this wine is nonetheless very pleasing, with pomegranate and cherry flavors, a bit of cedar, and some mocha notes on the long finish. If presented blind, I'd probably have guessed this was a pinot noir. Great wine for the price.

  Some sweat, pipe tobacco, chocolate and pomegranate showing though on a very interesting nose. Delicious cherries that carry right on through to the mid-palate where some secondary flavours of coffee/mocha make their appearance. Finish comes off a little syrupy with a hint of cedar. Heat shows through a little too much on finish. High acidity and very soft tannins.
