Very primary and fruit-forward with lots of perfumed black and blue fruit, but has a surprisingly refreshing structure with medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13.0%), and medium tannins. I would have liked a little more pyrazines or earthiness for complexity, but I love that there is no obtrusive oak and no overripeness. Highly recommended for a <$20 Cabernet Sauvignon from California that is food friendly and balanced. Not for aging, but a tasty pizza wine!

Neutral barrels with some Merlot in it. Actually smells a bit more generous than the Hobo.

Aromatically complex, dark cherry, actually some good interest here. Pure light bodied and light hearted Cabernet.
