Defect free, correctly made and inoffensive pinot noir from Wales. The novelty being it is from Wales, of course. Dark red colour. Low/Medium intensity nose. The core the flavour is a cross between red and black cherry, with hints of strawberry and maybe some rhubarb. Elements of sandalwood and soft tannin on the edge of the palate. Fairly weak finish. Quaffable now. If you served this blind at a social function nobody would complain...but nobody would mistake from high end pinot either.
