  • elegant Pinot Noir from the low lands of Toscana. Smoothed tannins and light oak coupled with typical Pinot Noir hints make this Marchesi Pancrazi PN a nice drinking experience. Vigna Baragazza is surely better but this base PN from different crus is really pleasant

  • A sheer dissapointment. I suppose I could expect a bit more than a boring, acidic and almost tasteless performance for 30 Euro. OK, certainly price and quality do not go hand in hand. But this time it is a bit frustrating. 2004 was a rather good vintage in Tuscany, so it is fair to assume that a wine of such quality lasts longer than 5 years. Either it has been like that the last 2 or 3 years, which would be rather sad, or it just became an old man right before the end. I guess it used to be a bit better, but surely never a tremendous revelation - that is why I still give 80 P. If u have one drink it, maybe your bottle is a bit better or -> cooking!
