Filtered & aerated into decanter. Moderate sediment. Big unctuous nose wafted up in the process. Didn't need much air time to fully open and reveal a perfect balance of resolved tannins, wonderful black fruit, smokey meat, tobacco. This is what Petite Sirah is all about and Vincent nailed it. So glad we waited and have more. Perfect pairing with a grilled prime ribeye. Yummmmmmmmmmm.

4th Saturday Brown Bagger (M&R's): Nonblind with dinner. Perfumed violet and dark fruit notes. Dark fruit on the palate, with hints of leather and spice.

Paired with a ground lamb dish. Still showing some great dark fruit. Five years since we had the first bottle, and this has come together very well. Still could pick up the shoe polish on the nose, but not as strong, and did not come through on the taste. A very nice bottle.
