Dark yellow color. Muted nose. Nice floral quality. Pretty rich on the palate. Would like a little more acididty, but this is quite nice. I love that floral mineral thing going on in the palate. 89-90

Oak weight on the nose with pear, minerality and fleshiness. This I think needs some time to competely reveal itself. Quite interesting now. Not bad for $19.

Jungle Jim's: Solera Imports w/Dan Frey (Jungle Jim's, Fairfield, OH): A very light nose, eventually I draw out a little bit of pear & lemon zest but there isn't a whole lot there. There's some oak here, most notably from the rich (but not really too creamy) mouthfeel. Good balance in that, but the light flavors are somewhat disappointing. There's a touch of pear in it, some ok acid, and it's a good wine, but nothing great.

This is drinking beautifully right now. Gold in color, compelling nose, rich, full-bodied palate. Great weight. Everything in harmony. Drink soon.

muted gold/yellow. mid-heavy weight, enough acidity to balance out.
