Nice mix of tropical peach and ripe lemon citrus fruits. Vanilla and ginger from what feels like a fairly strong whack of oak. Some creaminess but good acid keeps things tight, not flabby. Best Chardonnay I can remember having at this price point, definitely punches up. The oak being a touch heavy-handed is the main sign to me that this is not at flagship level but it's a minor complaint.

New Zealand London Annual Trade Tasting (Lindley Hall, Royal Horticultural Halls): 20yo Mendoza vines, spicy, flinty but again grassy, ripe fruit, nutty, ripe stone fruit, buttery, easier palate, could work on its own, lacking depth
