Rich and dark, full aromas of blackberries and black plums dominate the nose of this wine. There is a curious wheaty component coming through that makes me think of fresh artisan bread, combined with a deep chocolate core. A spin in the glass reveals foresty notes of birch, undergrowth, and berry bush.
Tons of velvety smooth richness drapes its way across the palate, accompanied by dark cherry and spiced, driftwood and forest floor. Following the mid palate there are kitchen spices and dried herbs, with orange peel and cloves on the finish. This is an impressive wine, very full but beautifully refined. Solid mouthfeel, lasting finish, and good complexity, this would be a solid buy at twice the price. Very well done and easily worth buying.

Dark ruby color morphing towards magenta near the rim. Nose has subtle hints of raspberry and some saddle leather. The palate resumes with some raspberry jam notes and hints of vanilla. A bit high in acidity and a little hot on the finish. The hot finish is expected with 14.5% alcohol, otherwise a nice drinking medium bodied malbec

Made in a lighter and more refreshing style than most Mendoza Malbec. Some orange peel and black tea on the palate along with a small amount of burnt rubber. Good.

A ripe, flashy style, with licorice, blueberry, fig notes backed by fruitcake and spice oak on the juicy, full-bodied finish. - JD88
