  • Best of the Chêne Bleu wines i tried, the Héloïse is a profound, complex Syrah-dominated blend that easily could compete with the best wines from Gigondas or elsewhere in the region. Deeply colored, with a varietal nose centered on spicy plum compote, crème caramel, beeswax. Swirling you find more and more here: hints of scorched earth, lavender, musk. Rich yet tart, with a distinctive note of cocoa that emerges on the palate, which is quite long and has a soft finish. Highly recommended and mature now.
