Served blind. I didn't make it out as a Chard and had no clue about it's origin (guessed South Africa) but got the vintage right… The glass was small, and I never arrived at the station where I flag this wine very high. The case could have been different with a richer serving and more plates to pair it with…

Very strong nectarine and kiwi aroma. That kiwi turns almost artificial with some watermelon. There also is very pungent rhubarb. On the palate it’s medium bodied and has decent acidity. Much more rhubarb on the palate. The oak isn’t excessive but it’s noticeable as an oak twig. Apple marmalade. As it warms up, a little butter aroma appears. 10/18
