Hello what do we have here.. 75% syrah and 25% sangiovese. Popped and poured, this showed off a deep cherry red color with black fruit, anise and slightly oaky aromatics. Very nice and balanced structure with firm tannins and just the right amount of acid to accentuate the fruit. Blackberry, plum, toasty vanilla, and hints of licorice on the finish. This is drinking very well right now but has the backbone to go another few years. Great QPR for 18 bucks. Will try to find more!
