  • This definitely is different, but I wound up liking it. The first sip was a giant lemony sour bomb and I was thinking this was going down the drain. I let it open a bit and it had already mellowed. It went well with fish.

Definitely tart citrus notes. But also sweet under tones of honey and something like mango.

I know we don’t usually decant whites, but this may be a candidate. Will try that with the next bottle.

  • Not a wine for the masses, it is very unusual. The closest I can come is that this is the love child of a Sauvignon Blanc and a Colombard. Still, it was interesting, good tropical fruits backed with nice acid. Enjoyable, if you are up for something different.

  • Pale lemon colored with copper highlights and a high viscosity (14% ABV). The nose has medium intensity aromas of peach, jasmine, lemon curd, white blossom, honeysuckle, tangerine peel and a waxy lanolin. The palate is dry with medium (+) acidity, a full body and some bitterness (skin contact perhaps?). Flavors of Jasmine tea, honeysuckle, lemon and tangerine skin, hints of peach and a salty minerality. The finish is medium in length and the bitterness has worn off at this juncture leaving the mouthfeel a touch waxy with some saline and honey. I am really enjoying the tropical notes of this rather aromatic wine, albeit not overly complex. It gets 90 points from me and 5 stars, I paid just under $15 for it. I'm gonna pair it with roast duck leg and mashed sweet potato. Drink till 2026.

  • Dry, medium-light bodied, higher acidity, litchi, honeysuckle, chalk. One of the more interesting whites I’ve had in a while and a good value at that.
