375ml bottle off the wine list over dinner at Empress. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, gold colour. Thin legs. Nose pronounced intensity, with aromas of dried apricots, honeyed beeswax, marmalade, salty stones minerality, hint of petroleum. Botrytis spice with more air. Developed. On the palate, sweet, medium+ acidity, low alcohol (8%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of dried apricots, honey beeswax, marmalade, lemon curd, lemon orange peel, modest stony minerality with a hint of petroleum. Botrytis spice with more air. Medium+ finish. Very good quality. But more frontal fruits attack rather than layered complexity. Such an easy drink. In a good place now. No need for much further ageing.

A friendly get-together @ Peter Z. (Belgium): Elegant and sexy, lovely freshness and airiness. Not extremely complex, slightly one-dimensional maybe. But very drinkable and pleasing. Passionfruit, bruised apples, honey-glazed pears. Lovely wine. 17.5-18/20

A private dinner (@ Home): Paired with the 2002. Much riper, sweeter and bigger but lacks the finesse and detail of the 2002.
