Small Tasting & Dinner with Friends: Double blind. Deep color. Aromas of brown sugar, herbs and black raspberry with a nice perfumed overtone. Full-bodied. Flavors of raspberry, currants and plum with a touch of spice in the finish. Guessed grenache. (R&D)

Dark color allowing diffused light through. Beautiful spring floral nose with red and dark fruit, wood tones of mild oak and cedar. Balanced throughout with moderate firm yet sweet tannins, smooth mouthfeel and alluring long finish. This was a pop-n-pour, consumed during dinner and through the evening. It definitely evolved during the evening with more complexity, smoothness and joy. Very enjoyable wine.

Excellent but would be better to wait 2 years for tertiary flavors to develop.
