  Tasted next to Clos du soleil 2016 estate reserve and this was left in the dust, so this may not be a fair review. On day two I gave it another go on its own. Red fruits, dry, feels a bit thin and alcoholic (but maybe that is just in comparison to the CDS). Some spice and earth. A pretty linear and straightforward wine. Just okay.
