  Good colour and a fresh and inviting nose of wildflowers, cherry, pine needle sap, smoked meats and earth. The palate is silky and supple, with a core of something sweet and vinous. There's a gently tart edge to the fruit flavours and the wine has good presence and is light on its feet. Quite lovely and drinking right in the zone.
