Ready to go at PnP. Drinking so well right now. Great with a variety of meat and starch dishes. Not a bomb, yet rich and chewy enough to be interesting with or without food accompaniment.

Good stuff! We served this for a casual Sunday dinner with good friends. Aerated then decanted the first bottle for about 30 minutes. Nice black fruit on the nose, medium body and a smooth finish with a bit of spice. Paired perfectly with a Cuban/citrus marinaded chicken.
Great QPR at $15 from WTSO. Glad we have 2 more!

Serious sediment throughout cylinder, thankfully it is adhered to the sides, otherwise this would need a serious decanting if you didn't plan ahead. Similar as before, rustic - got a bit of tomato leaf this time mixed in with the berries across my palate.

Very quaffable bottle. This is how merlot should be- rustic, yet suave; nuanced, yet interesting; smooth, yet possesses grip appropriate for food or a standalone engagement. Dark fruit at PnP flows from bottle. Body was like your best friend smashed fresh picked, late summer blackberries in your face, throw in some cinnamon and anise notes. This experience continues at finish with some cassia hints that wax and wane. B+/92 = 50/5/12/8/9/8

Everything I like about Merlot. Balanced, easy drinking, nothing with the word "bomb" can be used to describe it.
