dfcrutcher has it right. This is NOT a 95+ wine to begin with , yet it has held up astonishingly well. The fruity/unctious character is still there (tho diminished) and no substantial oxidation. @34yo its amazing & exciting.

12.7 abv , plenty of red and black plum fruit, cedar/pencil shavings, resolved tannins, lively acids. Not really complex but nice example of mature Alexander Valley. B+
