  • By the glass. Bottle of Assyrtiko from the island of Crete. 12.8 ABV. A potpourri of citrus fruits without much definition receives you on the nose highlighting notes of pink grapefruit and tangerine aromatics. On the palate it offers a strange combination, extremely dry but at the same time with acidity and a limestone finish. Ordinary if anything.

  • Light yellow color in the glass with a slight tinge of gold.
Aromas of lemons, apples and pears.
On the palate, disappointing because of the lack of acidity expected in Assyrtiko.
Additionally, the bland character in the mouthfeel and not having much of a “fresh” taste was not appealing.
